1. Tomatoes

Tomatoes should be placed at room temperature as they lose all their juicy flavor and grainy texture if placed in a fridge. Keeping them at room temperature will ensure that tomatoes retain their juicy flavor.

2. Coffee

Coffee must be stored in a cool and dry place. It won’t remain fresh if placed in a refrigerator because the temperature is too cold there. If stored in a fridge, the coffee will take the smell of ingredients around it and will lose its natural flavor.

So, instead of the fridge, prefer storing the coffee in an airtight container to retain its quality.

3. Basil

Soft herbs like basil can be treated like flowers i.e., cut them and place them in a glass of fresh water. Do not place basil in a fridge because it can absorb the smell of other items that are present in the refrigerator, which might ruin its natural taste.
